Fredonia voters face Aug. 7 absentee deadline before Aug. 11 partisan primary
Fredonia voters who cannot vote on Election Day have a final listed opportunity to cast an in-person absentee ballot on Friday, Aug. 7, before the village’s 2026 partisan primary. The municipal clerk’s election notice lists voting hours that day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The primary is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 11. Fredonia polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 242 Fredonia Avenue, Fredonia, Wisconsin 53021. The address is identified in the notice as both the specified polling location and the clerk’s office location.
The immediate deadline is the Aug. 7 in-person absentee and in-person registration window, which ends at 5 p.m. for the final listed absentee hours. Voters who wait until Election Day can go to 242 Fredonia Avenue on Tuesday, Aug. 11, between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
