U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says it removed Rolex Augustin from the United States on Oct. 8, 2026โ15 days before he missed a Brown County status conference in a Green Bay ballot-box case. WTAQ reported, citing court records, that a warrant was issued after his Oct. 23 nonappearance.
Augustin faces one misdemeanor count of attempted election fraud over an alleged Sept. 21 incident at Green Bay City Hall. The charge is an allegation, not a finding of guilt. ICE also said a removal order was entered Sept. 16, 2025, more than a year before the alleged incident.
What happened to the ballots? WTAQโs account of the criminal complaint says surveillance video showed a person identified as Augustin removing a ballot-box seal and later tugging at its door. The box remained secured and undamaged, and the city said no ballots were accessed or compromised.
