Police investigate southeast-side shooting
Indianapolis police are investigating after a man was shot late Saturday night in the 5600 block of South Franklin Road. Officers found the victim awake and breathing, and he was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Detectives are still working to determine what led up to the shooting.
Small protest held at Military Park
About two dozen people gathered Saturday evening at Military Park to protest the Trump administration’s military actions in Iran. Organizers described the strikes as unconstitutional and called for congressional oversight. The event included speeches and chanting, and officers briefly stepped in when an argument broke out with a man who approached the group.
