A separate proposal to relocate a casino license advanced in the Senate with amendments that point the license toward northeast Indiana, not Indianapolis. A state-commissioned study found Indianapolis could be the most financially lucrative option, but that route was quickly dismissed in the process. The bill now returns to the House for consideration of the Senate changes.
