Waterfront Tour Highlights Downtown Investment

On Sunday, residents gathered for a guided waterfront walking tour beginning at Philipse Manor Hall. The tour traced Yonkers’ development from its early history to the modern revitalization of the Saw Mill River daylighting project and the downtown corridor.

Stops included the Yonkers Train Station, Recreation Pier and local green infrastructure projects. The event underscores continued interest in downtown redevelopment, public access to the waterfront and historic preservation.

International Concert Draws Regional Visitors
