Lake Forest, CA — February 4, 2026 — Lake Forest Community High School has appointed Officer Matthew Allen as its new School Resource Officer, effective fall 2026.
Lake Forest Community High School Welcomes New School Resource Officer
Lake Forest Community High School has announced the appointment of Officer Matthew Allen as its new School Resource Officer (SRO), effective in the fall semester of 2026. Officer Allen will begin shadowing the current SRO, Officer Long, and will transition to the school’s main SRO shortly thereafter.
The SRO program aims to enhance safety and foster positive relationships between students and law enforcement. Officer Allen’s role will include providing a safe environment for students, offering guidance, and serving as a liaison between the school and the community.
The Lake Forest Police Department expressed confidence in Officer Allen’s ability to contribute positively to the school community and looks forward to his upcoming assignment.
