McCully Road repairs bring lane restrictions through August in Allison Park

Hampton Township began repairs and resurfacing on McCully Road in Allison Park during the week of July 6, 2026. The project covers the section between Middle Road and Route 8, where drivers are scheduled to encounter alternating one-lane traffic during daytime construction.

The lane restrictions are scheduled daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The township’s posted work period runs through the end of August 2026, so commuters and other road users should plan for changing traffic conditions on the corridor during that period.

Work includes drainage and roadway repairs

The project includes shoulder and embankment repairs, along with storm-sewer inlet and pipe replacements. Crews are also scheduled to mill and pave the roadway and replace guiderails.

Those elements address several parts of the road at once: pavement conditions, drainage, roadway edges and roadside protection. The township’s notice identifies the work as repairs and resurfacing rather than a completed project, and the posted schedule does not establish a final completion date beyond the end-of-August target.

Separate Route 910 closure had a July deadline

Hampton Township also issued a separate notice about Route 910, or Gibsonia Road. That notice called for a full closure between Allison Road and Lori Road beginning July 27 and ending at 7 p.m. July 31, 2026.

The Route 910 closure was a separate road notice, not part of the McCully Road repairs. Because its posted end time was July 31, it should not be treated as an active closure after that date without a newer township notice.

Work remains scheduled through August

The McCully Road project is scheduled to continue through the end of August. The township notices provided for this report do not state the project cost, current percentage of completion or a final completion date. They also do not identify a separate detour route for the alternating one-lane work.

For now, the posted guidance is the daytime restriction between Middle Road and Route 8, with the next stated project milestone being the end of August 2026.
