Medrano and Gomez top La Habra council tally shown Nov. 6
Jose Medrano and James Gomez were listed first and second in NBC Los Angelesโs La Habra City Council tally when the page was checked Nov. 6, with 8,378 and 6,449 votes. The page says results are subject to updates, so the displayed order should not be treated as a certified outcome. La Habra lists all four candidates as qualified for its Nov. 3, 2026, General Municipal Election.
| Candidate | Votes | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Jose Medrano | 8,378 | 36.35% |
| James Gomez | 6,449 | 27.98% |
| Susan Pritchard | 4,917 | 21.33% |
| Miles Matias | 3,306 | 14.34% |
Medranoโs displayed lead over Gomez was 1,929 votes and 8.37 percentage points, calculated from their listed totals and shares. Gomez led Pritchard by 1,532 votes, or 6.65 percentage points. The four candidate totals add to 23,050; that sum is not a count of ballots cast.
An earlier live-count snapshot from The Ballot Book, updated Nov. 4 at 1:36 a.m., also placed Medrano and Gomez first and second, with 20,674 votes counted at that point. It records the earlier order but does not establish the exact totals later displayed by NBC.
