Black History Month Museum Opens in Seattle
Seattle’s Columbia City Theater has been transformed into a Black History Month museum, celebrating 100 years of Black history. The museum features immersive installations and programs highlighting the legacy and contributions of Black communities in Seattle and Tacoma. Exhibits include the Seattle Chapter of the Black Panther Party, the Hartsfield Enslaved Quilt Collection, and the history of Jackson Street Jazz, among others. The museum is open throughout February 2026.
