Severe Weather Threat Looms Again

Oklahoma City is bracing for another round of strong storms Tuesday after a deadly stretch of tornadoes across the state over the weekend. Forecasters say the metro faces a risk of severe weather late Tuesday into the overnight hours, with damaging winds, large hail and a limited tornado threat possible.

The renewed concern follows multiple reported tornadoes on Friday that left several people dead statewide and prompted emergency declarations in a number of counties. Meteorologists say rainfall earlier in the day could help limit instability, but conditions will need to be monitored closely as storms develop south of the metro and track east.

Thunder Win in Dramatic Fashion

On a brighter note, the Oklahoma City Thunder delivered a statement win Monday night at Paycom Center, rallying past the Denver Nuggets 129-126.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sealed the game with a clutch three-pointer in the final seconds, finishing with 35 points and 15 assists. Jaylin Williams added a career-high performance, helping the Thunder maintain their position near the top of the Western Conference standings.

The victory keeps momentum high as the team continues its push toward the postseason.
