Solange Whitehead Reelected; Two Scottsdale Council Seats Remain

Solange Whitehead won reelection to the Scottsdale City Council in the July 21, 2026, primary, securing one of the three council seats on the ballot. The city’s official results show Whitehead received 28,338 votes, or 17.48%, the highest total among eight candidates. Her new term begins in January 2027.

Her reelection settled one of the three council seats on the ballot; two seats remain to be decided in the November 3 general election. The initial field for those seats included Barry Graham, Bob Littlefield, Michelle Ugenti-Rita and Raoul Zubia.

Littlefield withdrew on Aug. 4, 2026. The city says Graham, Ugenti-Rita and Zubia will appear on the November ballot. The two highest vote-getters will be elected, and the city says those council terms also begin in January 2027.
