Bar announces new age restrictions after nuisance designation

O’Shea’s Irish Pub on West Sylvania Avenue announced new entry rules requiring a physical ID and setting minimum ages for patrons. The change follows the city’s public nuisance designation for the business, and the bar was added to the city’s problem-bar tracking list tied to repeated police calls.

New summer roller hockey pilot set for the Huntington Center

A new professional roller hockey league plans a 21-date pilot season at the Huntington Center, running from July 10 through Aug. 15. Arena leaders said the summer schedule will include regular-season games and postseason play, with team names tied to Toledo and a public naming component for two teams.
