Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Hook Boulevard
Victorville, CA — February 3, 2026 — A tragic incident occurred on January 31, 2026, when a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Hook Boulevard near Hook Park. The collision took place around 6:49 p.m. in the 17000 block of Hook Blvd, close to High Desert Church and adjacent to Hook Park. Preliminary reports indicate that the pedestrian was walking from the direction of the church toward the park when a white 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan struck them. Bystanders immediately attempted to render aid until first responders arrived. Despite their efforts, the individual was confirmed dead at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation and has not released additional details at this time. Authorities are urging residents to exercise caution in the area and to stay informed through official channels.
