Waukesha County Sets Review Step for Juno House Shelter Project
Waukesha County has proposed $139,053.63 in federal Community Development Block Grant funds for a new garage and fence at Hebron Housing Services’ Juno House Shelter in the City of Waukesha.
The county’s public notice identifies the project site as Juno House Shelter, 812 N. East Ave. The shelter is listed by Waukesha County as an emergency shelter for families with children.
The county posted the notice July 23, 2026. It opened a public-comment period that ran through Aug. 7 and said it planned to submit a FONSI/RROF notice to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about Aug. 8.
