Waukesha voters can still cast ballots early before the Aug. 11 primary
Waukesha city voters still have several days to vote before the Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, partisan primary. In-person absentee voting is available through Friday, Aug. 7, at the City Hall Clerk’s Office.
Where and when to vote early
The early-voting site is the Clerk’s Office on the first floor of Waukesha City Hall, 201 Delafield Street.
Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily through Thursday, Aug. 6. On Friday, Aug. 7, the office will remain open until 5 p.m.
Friday is the final day for in-person absentee voting for the Aug. 11 primary. The schedule applies to voters in the City of Waukesha; it does not mean every Waukesha County resident may vote at City Hall.
Check your polling place before Election Day
Residents who plan to vote on Election Day can use Wisconsin’s MyVote website to find their assigned polling place by entering their address. The tool also provides directions and polling-place hours, shows what will be on the voter’s ballot, identifies the next local election and provides absentee-voting information.
Voting at City Hall before the election is different from voting at an assigned polling place on Aug. 11. Voters should verify their location and ballot information before heading out.

The Aug. 11 partisan primary is the city’s next scheduled election. Residents who want to vote early should plan to visit City Hall by the 5 p.m. closing time on Friday, Aug. 7.
