Camp Inferno Empowers Young Women in Firefighting

Yuma, AZ — February 5, 2026 — Camp Inferno, a specialized program designed to introduce teenage girls to the world of firefighting, is currently underway in Yuma. The camp, held from February 5 to 7, aims to immerse participants in authentic firefighter challenges that test both mental and physical strength. Through hands-on activities, students are building teamwork, confidence, leadership, and an appreciation for the skills required in the fire service.

Participants are engaging in supervised activities such as live fire exercises, rappelling, and ladder climbing.
