U.S. job openings held at 7.4 million in June as hires stayed at 5.3 million
The Bureau of Labor Statistics released its June 2026 Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey on Aug. 4, offering a national snapshot of openings, hiring and worker separations before the next monthly jobs report.
