Glendale Gas Reaches $4.496 and Diesel $5.568 After Another Daily Increase
Glendale’s July 31 AAA averages show regular gas at $4.496 and diesel at $5.568, with both prices rising again and well above last year’s levels.
Glendale’s regular-gas and diesel averages both rose again in the latest AAA price check, dated July 31, 2026. Regular gasoline reached $4.496 per gallon, up 4.8 cents from the previous day. Diesel climbed to $5.568 per gallon, a 5.5-cent daily increase.
Regular gas remains sharply higher
AAA’s Glendale metro average for regular gasoline was 14.4 cents higher than a week earlier, 64.4 cents above the month-ago average, and $1.222 higher than the same time last year. The figures describe an average across the Glendale metro area, not the price at every individual station.
At the current Glendale average, filling a 15-gallon tank would cost about $67.44 before taxes, discounts, or station-level differences. Compared with the year-ago average, the same fill-up would cost roughly $18.33 more.
Diesel rises faster than gasoline
Diesel reached $5.568 per gallon in AAA’s July 31 table, up 5.5 cents from the prior day. The Glendale average was 18.7 cents higher than a week earlier, 67.1 cents higher than a month earlier, and $1.939 above the year-ago figure.
That increase matters beyond personal vehicles. Diesel is commonly used by delivery operators, contractors, landscaping companies, service fleets, and other businesses that move equipment or workers. Higher fuel prices can add pressure to operating budgets, although the available price data does not document whether any specific Glendale business has changed its prices or fees.
How Glendale compares

Station prices can vary by neighborhood, brand, payment method, and time of day. Commuters, households, weekend travelers, restaurants, contractors, delivery businesses, and organizers of local events may want to compare nearby stations before filling up while the next AAA update shows whether prices continue rising, level off, or begin to ease.
