Missouri voters rejected Proposition A, a referendum on the congressional map approved by lawmakers in 2025, according to CNN's projected result. Reported returns showed 1,273,815 no votes, or 61.8%, and 785,969 yes votes, or 38.2%, with 99% of the estimated vote reported.
The referendum asked voters whether to approve House Bill 1, which would replace the state's congressional district plan. The Missouri Secretary of State's official ballot explanation says a no vote leaves the congressional boundaries enacted in 2022 in place. The reported vote totals remain unofficial.
