Cincinnati’s Hyde Park Square revised plan drops hotel, lowers height
Cincinnati OH – Developers filed a June 3 revised Hyde Park Square plan that drops the hotel, lowers the building, and reworks parking access.
Developers filed a revised plan on June 3 for Hyde Park Square at 2719 Erie Avenue in Cincinnati. The new version removes the hotel, lowers the building height and reworks parking access and site circulation.
The project is back in city review after last year’s approval-and-repeal cycle. City planning records show the earlier version had already moved through approvals before the repeal, which is why the new filing matters now.
For nearby residents, drivers and business owners, the practical questions are still the same: how much traffic the project will add, how parking will work and how the redevelopment will fit into the square. The revised plan still needs Planning Commission review and later City Council action before anything is final.
