Ada Municipal Complex Reaches Foundation Stage

Construction of Ada’s new municipal complex has moved into foundation and utility work, according to a June 29, 2026, Public Works Board update included in the City Council’s July 6 packet.

The update reported that footings and foundation walls had been poured for the planned City Hall, police station, and public-works-shop addition. Water and sewer connections for the main buildings had also been installed.

Utility and site work continues

Work was underway to reconnect utilities serving the south shop, while exterior foundation insulation and backfilling were in progress. The board update also said under-floor plumbing was scheduled after the state approved the project’s plumbing permit.

That sequence makes permit approval an important next step. The June 29 record describes the plumbing as scheduled or contingent, not as completed work.

A planned shared facility for city services

The project is planned as a facility of more than 18,400 square feet intended to bring City Hall, police, and public works functions into one complex. Great States Construction identified itself as the construction lead in a May announcement about the Ada Municipal Complex project.
