That property includes three bedrooms, two baths and more than 2,200 square feet, with a finished basement and a fireplace. The listing was refreshed early Friday and is advertising an open house on Sunday afternoon, giving would-be buyers a chance to walk through before the February market fully ramps up.

Pet vaccine clinic scheduled for next weekend

Pet owners will want to note an upcoming low-cost vaccine clinic at Premier Paws on Lavergne Avenue. A regional events calendar lists a vaccine clinic there on Saturday, February 14, starting at 9 a.m., and the veterinary practice’s own site says its Burbank location hosts healthy-pet vaccine clinics on the second Saturday of each month, by appointment. That makes this coming weekend a good opportunity to book shots for dogs and cats without leaving the city.

Fresh statewide records compiled this week show 15 registered sex offenders living in Burbank as of February 6, 2026. With an estimated population near 29,000, that works out to about one offender for every 1,930 residents, a ratio that is significantly lower than the Illinois average. While not a headline-grabbing story, it is one more data point suggesting Burbank continues to track as a relatively low-crime, family-oriented suburb on Chicago’s southwest edge.
