Carrollton Gas Falls at Josey Lane Station as Diesel Edges Higher
Carrollton’s latest checked pump prices moved in opposite directions. Regular gasoline fell to $3.399 per gallon at the 7-Eleven at 2145 N Josey Lane, Suite 100, while diesel rose to $5.179.

Regular gas is down from the last check
Compared with the previous same-site check on July 29, regular gasoline is down about 24.3 cents per gallon, from $3.642 to $3.399. For a 15-gallon fill-up, that difference works out to roughly $3.65 less before taxes, fees or any change in the posted price.
AAA’s Texas price check dated August 3 listed the statewide average for regular gasoline at $3.595 per gallon. The Josey Lane listing is therefore about 19.6 cents below the Texas average. That comparison provides statewide context but does not show how every station in Carrollton is pricing fuel.
Diesel is moving the other way
Diesel at the same station rose from $5.147 on July 29 to $5.179, an increase of about 3.2 cents per gallon. The move is smaller than gasoline’s decline, but it matters more for drivers and businesses that buy larger volumes of diesel.
AAA listed the Texas diesel average at $5.029 on August 3. The Carrollton station’s posted diesel price was therefore about 15 cents above the statewide average. A 25-gallon diesel purchase at that difference would cost about $3.75 more than it would at the Texas-average price, assuming the comparison held at the pump.
