Columbus Gas Falls to $3.859 While Diesel Rises to $5.222

Diesel also remained substantially more expensive than it was earlier in the year. The latest average was 59.8 cents above its month-ago price and $1.638 higher than its year-ago average.

The small drop in regular gas may offer limited relief for commuters, households and weekend travelers. The diesel increase can add pressure for delivery companies, contractors, farmers, restaurants and service businesses that depend on diesel-powered vehicles or equipment.
