Delray Beach’s new water-billing portal is live. What customers should know before August 7
Delray Beach’s utility-billing transition is complete, and customers can now use the city’s new Tyler Enterprise ERP portal to review bills, make payments and manage account settings.
The city restored online utility-billing services on July 28, 2026, after an upgrade period during which online payments were suspended from July 20 through July 28. Late fees are waived through August 7, 2026, giving customers a specific deadline to review their accounts and payment arrangements.
What customers can do in the new portal
The Tyler Enterprise ERP portal allows customers to pay and review bills, print bills, enroll in electronic billing, set up automatic payments, view consumption history and manage multiple properties from one account.
Customers who previously used automatic payments should register or log in and verify that their account information and payment arrangements are correct. The city’s information does not establish that every prior autopay arrangement transferred automatically, so customers should not assume their settings remain unchanged.
Late-fee waiver ends August 7
The city’s waiver applies through August 7, 2026. That is the immediate customer deadline—not an indefinite grace period. Residents who have not yet checked their bills, payment status or autopay settings should do so before the waiver expires.
The city said customers who normally receive bills toward the end of the month may experience a bill delay during the transition. It did not say that every customer experienced a delayed bill.
Payment options and processing charges
Customers can pay through the online portal, automatic bank drafting, the 24-hour phone interactive voice-response system, mail, the drop box in front of City Hall or in person at City Hall during regular business hours.
Online and phone payments carry transaction-processing charges. These are payment fees, not new utility rates:
- Online credit or debit card: 3.25%, with a $2.50 minimum.
- Online e-check: $1.95.
- Phone IVR credit card: 3.25%, with a $3 minimum.
- Phone IVR e-check: $2.45.
The phone-payment fee schedule is separate from the online schedule, including the higher minimum for phone credit-card payments. Customers should check the charge before completing a transaction.
Mail payments should be sent with the payment stub to the city’s processing center at P.O. Box 288242, Tampa, FL 33630-8242. The city also accepts payments in person at City Hall, 100 NW 1st Ave., during weekday business hours. A drop box is available in front of City Hall.
How to get help
Customers who have trouble accessing the portal or need help with a utility account can contact Delray Beach Utility Billing at (561) 243-7100. Customer-service hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The city lists UtilitiesCustomerService@mydelraybeach.com as the customer-service email.
The practical next step is to log in or register, confirm the account and bill information, review any autopay arrangement, and complete payment early enough to address problems before the August 7 late-fee deadline.
