Hesperia Community Schools receives $2.9 million state infrastructure grant

Hesperia Community Schools has been awarded $2,913,040 through Michigan’s fiscal-year 2026 school-aid infrastructure program, giving the district a substantial state allocation for building-related work.

The Michigan Department of Education announced the award July 17, 2026, as part of a statewide infrastructure grant package totaling $224 million. The program covers infrastructure work in 31 Michigan school districts, including Hesperia Community Schools, the public district serving Hesperia.

Roof and HVAC work received priority
