A 44-year-old man from Hialeah was arrested on January 27, 2026, after police accused him of repeatedly stalking a former business associate and installing a tracking device on the victim’s vehicle in Doral, Florida.
The harassment began two years ago following the dissolution of a business agreement, with the victim owing the suspect approximately $200,000. The victim reported multiple “suspicious encounters,” where the suspect would appear at various locations demanding repayment.
On December 4, 2025, the victim received an alert indicating someone was in his driveway. Security camera footage revealed a male wearing a black cap and black clothing. Shortly after, the victim’s cellphone detected a tracking device in his car, which investigators later linked to the suspect.
On January 27, 2026, the victim reported that the suspect was knocking at his door. When confronted, the suspect allegedly asked, “Is this what I get for knocking on someone’s door?” before being taken into custody. The suspect faces charges of aggravated stalking, installing a tracking device without consent, and trespassing. As of January 28, 2026, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with bond to be set.
