Regular gas moved higher across Michigan
AAA’s Michigan statewide average for regular gasoline was $4.374 per gallon on July 31. The average was 9.8 cents higher than the previous day, 11.8 cents above the previous week, 29.6 cents higher than a month earlier and $1.213 above the same point last year.
The Stadium Drive station’s listed regular price was 10.5 cents above the Michigan average. That comparison does not establish a Kalamazoo-wide average, but it shows why checking several nearby stations can matter when prices are changing quickly.
