ICE mega-detention plan stalls in Kansas City

In a major development for immigration and local land use, a Kansas City real estate firm has pulled out of negotiations to sell a large south Kansas City warehouse that federal officials had eyed for a massive ICE detention center. The proposed facility was part of a national push to convert warehouses into centers that could hold thousands of immigrants.
