Shooting at Clinton Parade Injures Five, Including 6-Year-Old
On Saturday, February 1, 2026, a shooting occurred during the Mardi Gras in the Country Parade in Clinton, Louisiana, approximately 30 miles north of Baton Rouge. Five individuals were wounded, including a 6-year-old child. The incident prompted panic among attendees, with many scrambling for safety.
