Maryville early voting ends Aug. 1 before the Aug. 6 election
Maryville-area voters can vote early through Saturday, Aug. 1, at listed Blount County sites before the Aug. 6 election. Election Day voters must use assigned precincts.
Maryville-area voters have through Saturday, Aug. 1, to cast ballots early ahead of the Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, election.
The election combines a Tennessee state primary, the Blount County general election and municipal contests, including the Maryville City School Board election. Voters who wait until Election Day will face different location rules than those voting early.
Maryville early-voting locations
Blount County says early voters may use any listed early-voting location. The two Maryville sites are:
- Blount County Public Library: 508 N. Cusick Street, Maryville. The county’s early-voting schedule lists weekday hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The county’s online election notice also lists Saturday hours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; voters should verify the schedule before traveling.
- Everett Recreation Center: 318 S. Everett High Road, Maryville. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Other listed early-voting sites are Pellissippi State Community College at 2731 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway in Friendsville and Providence Baptist Church Annex at 5766 Sevierville Road in Seymour. Providence is available during the July 24-Aug. 1 portion of the early-voting period and is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Election Day rules are different
On Thursday, Aug. 6, polls are scheduled to be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters must go to their assigned precinct; they cannot choose any polling location in the county as they can during early voting.
Blount County also requires voters to present a valid photo ID. Checking the assigned polling place before Election Day can help prevent a trip to the wrong location.
What is on the ballot
The Aug. 6 ballot includes federal and state primary contests for governor, U.S. senator, U.S. representative and Tennessee House seats, along with state executive committee positions.
Blount County offices on the ballot include county mayor, all 21 county commission seats, county clerk, trustee, register of deeds, sheriff, highway superintendent, circuit court clerk and county school board seats in Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7.
Maryville voters will also see the election for three Maryville City School Board seats. The county’s official notice also lists Alcoa City School Board, Friendsville City Commission and Townsend City Commission contests for voters in those municipalities. The contests on an individual ballot depend on the voter’s residence and election eligibility.

Voters should verify those details before heading to the polls, especially if they plan to vote on Aug. 6 rather than during the remaining early-voting period.
