Bell Street Closure for Stormwater Pipe Replacement
The City of Melbourne Public Works and Utilities Department has closed Bell Street between Tynan Avenue and Muldrew Avenue to replace a stormwater pipe. The closure began on Tuesday, February 3, at 9 a.m. and is expected to last until Friday, February 6, at 3 p.m. A detour is in place to route traffic around the work area. Train Blocks Crossings South of NASA Blvd.
A train is currently stopped on the tracks, blocking crossings from south of NASA Blvd. to Prospect Ave. Drivers are advised to find alternate routes and expect congestion in the area. The situation is being monitored, and updates will be provided as available.
