Odessa police say a white Lexus failed to yield at a stop sign before a motorcycle struck it at Faudree Road and Santa Fe Drive, killing 24-year-old Dominique Mancha. The city described this as an investigative finding; it is not a final legal determination of fault.
Police and Odessa Fire Rescue responded at about 7:23 p.m. Oct. 23, 2026. The city said Mancha was riding a 2016 Yamaha north in the 3600 block of Faudree Road when the motorcycle struck the Lexus. Its account placed the Lexus at a stop sign in the 8000 block of Santa Fe Drive.
Mancha was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where medical personnel later pronounced him dead. The city said next of kin had been notified and the investigation was ongoing. Its account did not identify the Lexus driver or announce a citation or charge.
