The Sandy Springs Police Department (SSPD) has officially relocated to its new headquarters at 620 Morgan Falls Road. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to better serve the community and enhance public safety operations.
Facility Features
The new headquarters spans over 130,000 square feet and includes modern amenities to support the department’s diverse operations. The facility houses various specialty units, including the Street Crimes Unit, Traffic Unit, Narcotics and Vice Unit, and Criminal Investigation Division. Additionally, the SSPD is equipped with specialized vehicles and equipment, such as a river response boat, Rhino ATV units, river kayaks, and an armored vehicle for tactical responses.
Public Access
The public hours for the new headquarters are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Residents are encouraged to visit the facility for non-emergency services and to learn more about the department’s operations. For emergencies, always dial 911.
