Developers describe the single family homes as combining mid century inspired architecture with desert friendly landscaping and modern floor plans. The project also marks the company’s formal entry into the for sale residential market in Scottsdale, underscoring ongoing demand for higher end housing close to the city’s urban core.
Wrong way crash highlights north Scottsdale road safety
Police are continuing to investigate a serious wrong way collision near Scottsdale and Dynamite Roads after an SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a semi truck. The SUV driver was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor. The crash has renewed concerns about impaired driving on fast moving corridors in the far north part of the city, where long stretches of desert roadway and limited lighting can magnify the consequences of a single mistake behind the wheel.
