The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning about a new scam targeting residents. Scammers are sending emails containing personal information to intimidate recipients into paying a ransom. Authorities advise the public not to respond to such emails or click on any links or attachments they may contain.
Upcoming River Walk Bridge Closure
Beginning Monday, February 2, the River Walk Bridge near Jack Warner Parkway will be closed for approximately two weeks to replace the hand railing. Commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during this period.
Arts Events Underway in Tuscaloosa
The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa is hosting the annual West Alabama Juried Art Show from January 20 to February 20 at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center.
