Port St. Lucie woman arrested on 29 animal-cruelty counts
Police say the 29 felony counts are based on veterinary findings for the first 29 cats evaluated after 124 cats were recovered from a Port St. Lucie home.

Yonkers woman pleads guilty in dog-abandonment case
Anita Martin pleaded guilty to misdemeanors after a dog was abandoned at a Yonkers cemetery. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 13, 2027.
