Valley Oak home struck by gunfire; no injuries reported
In the Valley Oak area, police said shots hit a home Tuesday evening while a woman was inside. No injuries were reported, and investigators said the suspects left in two vehicles. Neighbors are urged to report any security-camera footage from the area around the time of the shooting.
Stockton awarded $2 million to expand violence-prevention work
State officials announced $2 million in new funding for Stockton’s Office of Violence Prevention to expand youth intervention and gun-violence prevention efforts.
