Hialeah voters begin early voting for the Aug. 18 primary

Early voting begins Monday, Aug. 3, for Hialeah residents casting ballots in Miami-Dade County’s countywide primary election on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026.

The Hialeah early-voting site listed by the county is the John F. Kennedy Library, 190 West 49 Street, Hialeah, FL 33012. A staffed secure ballot intake station will be available there during early-voting hours for voters returning completed vote-by-mail ballots.

Hialeah early-voting hours

The county schedule lists these hours for all early-voting locations, including the John F. Kennedy Library:

• Monday, Aug. 3, through Friday, Aug. 7: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Monday, Aug. 10, through Friday, Aug. 14: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 15, and Sunday, Aug. 16: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Early voting ends Sunday, Aug. 16. Miami-Dade County lists multiple early-voting sites, so the John F. Kennedy Library is one available option for Hialeah voters, not the only site they may use. Voters should confirm the location they plan to use before traveling.

Registration deadline has passed

The voter-registration deadline for the Aug. 18 primary was July 20, 2026. As of Monday, Aug. 3, that deadline has passed. Voters should use the official election-information site to check their registration status, eligibility and ballot information.

Early voting is separate from vote-by-mail and Election Day voting. Voters who already have a vote-by-mail ballot can use the staffed secure ballot intake station during early-voting hours, while voters choosing to cast a ballot in person can do so during the early-voting period or on Election Day, subject to the county’s voting information and assigned polling-place rules.

The countywide primary is Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026. Miami-Dade County’s Supervisor of Elections can be reached at 305-499-VOTE. Voters can also use the official voter-information site, VoteMiamiDade.gov, to review election details and personalized ballot information.
