Denver gas stays near $4.11, diesel eases to $4.84
AAA’s latest Denver metro check puts regular gas at $4.113 and diesel at $4.841, with diesel still the tougher number for fleets and delivery work.
Denver drivers are getting a mixed update from AAA: regular gas in the metro is $4.113 a gallon and diesel is $4.841.
Compared with the June 10 local check, regular is a touch higher, while diesel is a touch lower. Even so, the broader trend still leans cheaper than a week ago and a month ago. Regular gas is down 12.1 cents from a week ago and 20.2 cents from a month ago. Diesel has eased 21.0 cents over the week and 53.4 cents over the month.
Diesel remains the bigger cost burden for contractors, delivery fleets, service vans, restaurants, and other businesses that rack up a lot of miles. For those users, the current price still matters more than the daily wiggle, because fuel can quickly shape route planning, quotes, and surcharges.
On broader comparisons, Denver regular gas is below Colorado’s AAA average of $4.206 and just under AAA’s national regular average of $4.129. Denver diesel is also below Colorado’s $4.974 average and below the EIA’s latest U.S. on-highway diesel benchmark of $5.210 for June 8. Keeping those numbers separate matters, because metro, state, and national prices do not always move together.
For commuters and households, the change is modest but welcome. For business owners and weekend travelers, the takeaway is simple: fill-up costs are still elevated, but the direction has softened enough to matter at the margins.
