Bay Lights Return, SFMTA Hearing Draws Input, Spring Events Fill SF Calendar

San Francisco’s waterfront shimmered again Friday night as The Bay Lights returned to the Bay Bridge, while transportation officials and event organizers kept the city’s spring momentum going.

Bay Lights Shine Again

The Bay Lights officially switched back on March 20, marking the return of the large-scale LED installation along the western span of the Bay Bridge. The relighting ceremony, broadcast online, drew residents to the Embarcadero and waterfront viewpoints.

The decade-long installation is expected to once again become a nightly backdrop for commuters, tourists, and photographers, restoring one of the city’s most recognizable pieces of public art.
