Charity Burger Challenge Set for Tuesday Night

A southwest Louisville restaurant is turning up the heat Tuesday evening with the Triple Big Dixie Burger Challenge. The competition, hosted at Hideout Pizzeria, will feature 15 contestants attempting to finish an oversized signature burger.

The twist: up to 20000 dollars will be awarded to a local nonprofit chosen by the winner. Organizers say the event blends friendly competition with community impact, and city leaders are encouraging residents to attend and cheer on participants.

The challenge begins at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to draw a lively crowd.

Monster Jam Packs Freedom Hall

Freedom Hall rumbled over the weekend as Monster Jam returned to Louisville for shows on March 7 and 8. Families filled the arena to watch monster trucks soar, spin and race in head-to-head competitions.

The high-energy event marked one of the largest indoor entertainment gatherings of the early spring season in the city. Local hotels and nearby businesses also saw increased traffic as out-of-town fans traveled in for the shows.
