Chandler is partnering with Gilbert, Mesa, and Tempe on a one-day resource event for people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of it. Organizers say the goal is to make it easier to connect with help in one place, in a single day.
The East Valley Community Impact Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at a church in Gilbert. City information says the event will include a job fair and dozens of service providers offering support with housing, health care, IDs, veteran services, and more.
