Chandler, AZ — January 30, 2026 — The Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) Governing Board has selected Dr. Anna Battle as the district’s next superintendent, effective July 1, 2026. This decision follows an extensive, community-informed search process that included three finalists.
The search, initiated in October 2025, involved focus groups, community forums, and stakeholder interviews to gather a broad range of perspectives. Dr. Battle will succeed Superintendent Frank Narducci, who has served the district for over 30 years and will retire in July 2026.
The Governing Board expressed gratitude for the community’s engagement throughout the selection process and looks forward to Dr. Battle’s leadership in the district’s next chapter.
