NHRA Arizona Nationals Roar Into Town

The NHRA Arizona Nationals are underway at Firebird Motorsports Park, running March 20–22. The three-day event marks a major stop on the national drag racing circuit and is drawing fans from across the Valley.

Races, qualifying rounds and fan experiences are scheduled throughout the weekend, bringing increased traffic near the venue and a noticeable boost for nearby businesses.

Ostrich Festival Continues at Rawhide

The Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival wraps up its second weekend at Rawhide Western Town and Event Center. This year marks the festival’s move from Tumbleweed Park to its new home, offering expanded space, indoor vendor areas and updated amenities.

Concert headliners include classic rock band Kansas, with additional national acts rounding out the lineup. Carnival rides, food vendors and family-friendly attractions continue through Sunday.

Community Events Keep Calendar Busy

On Friday, residents 55 and older gathered at Tumbleweed Recreation Center for March Nacho Madness, a social watch party for the NCAA tournament’s first round. The event combined basketball, food and community connection.

Earlier in the week, the Chandler Chamber hosted its monthly Business After Business networking event at Valle Luna on Ray Road, drawing local entrepreneurs and business leaders for an evening of connections and collaboration.

With major regional events and neighborhood gatherings happening side by side, Chandler heads into the final stretch of March with plenty of activity for residents and visitors alike.
