Diesel stays above $5 at the high end

AAA’s Virginia average was $3.909 for regular and $5.136 for diesel on June 10, down from yesterday, last week, and last month on both fuels. The Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Newport News metro average was $4.023 for regular and $5.246 for diesel, also lower across those same comparison windows.

The national backdrop is moving the same way. The U.S. Energy Information Administration‘s June 9 release showed U.S. regular at $4.146 and diesel at $5.210, both below the prior week’s readings.
