The difference between the lowest and highest listed regular-gas prices was 4 cents per gallon. On a 15-gallon fill-up, that amounts to about 60 cents before taxes, discounts or rewards programs.

Diesel tops $5 at all three listed stations

The lowest listed diesel price was $5.119 per gallon at 1700 State Highway 26. Diesel was listed at $5.199 at both 3125 Ira E. Woods Avenue and 3580 Grapevine Mills Boulevard North.

That creates an 8-cent-per-gallon spread among the three listings. For a 25-gallon purchase, the difference between the lowest and highest listed prices would be about $2.

AAA’s Texas fuel-price table, dated July 29, listed the Dallas metro average at $3.642 for regular gasoline and $5.147 for diesel. The Fort Worth-Arlington average was $3.633 for regular gas and $5.111 for diesel.
