Teacher arrested on 10 felony counts
Investigators say a cyber tip led to an inquiry into alleged second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The suspect, identified as Richard Lynn Upright, was arrested Feb. 27 and was working as a teacher at Vandalia Christian School when the investigation began. Officials say he is being held at the Guilford County Detention Center with no bond, and his first court appearance is scheduled for 2 p.m. today.
