Lincoln Police Seek Public’s Help in Recent Incidents
Lincoln, NE — January 29, 2026 — Lincoln Police are seeking public assistance in identifying suspects involved in a high school burglary and a home vandalism incident.
High School Burglary
The burglary occurred on New Year’s Eve at Norris High School, located near S. 68th and Princeton Road. Surveillance footage captured a male suspect approaching the building, kicking in a glass door, and entering the premises. The suspect left the building quickly after entering. Investigators believe the suspect may have attended a nearby New Year’s Eve party. Photos from the incident are available below.
Home Vandalism
In a separate incident on January 25, a woman reported a man knocking forcefully on her front door at 4:15 a.m. in the area of 38th and Holdrege Streets. The man also ripped off her security camera before leaving. The suspect was dressed in all black, making identification challenging. Video and photos from the incident are available below.
