The suit also alleges the student was able to be alone with the adult during school-related activities. The district has said the employee is no longer employed, and officials have indicated they are working with investigators while the case proceeds.

2) Kroger Marketplace breaks ground near the McKinney-Prosper border

A new Kroger Marketplace is moving from planning to construction, with a groundbreaking held for a store planned near Laud Howell Parkway and North Custer Road. The project is part of a larger retail development and is expected to open in 2027.
